Friday Brag :)

Ooooh lovely Robert Kaufman fabric on sale at Hobbycraft!!

Hmmmm, I wonder what it's been made into...?

Ahhhh!! A lovely funky party skirt for the Moomin!!!

I was planning to make more of these to sell on my Folksy shop, but it took so long to do, what with all the layers of net and lining, etc, that once I have charged for my time, they'd be out of the realms of most peoples budgets! So I am going back to the drawing board with this skirt design, and will figure out something a little less time-consuming. :) What fab fabric though, don't you think?

Happy May Day, everyone!! (And happy Beltane to those that celebrate it!) Hope you have a great bank holiday weekend. :D

Lovely skirt!! It's nice to dress your children in 'one offs'!!! You never know, you might get orders. That's something to bear in mind, a simple pattern that doesn't take too long.
Have a lovely weekend : )

What a cute skirt, that fabric's lovely! You have every right to brag! You never know though if someone would like to have one like it, why don't you post a pic on Folksy and say that you'll make one to order? then if no-one is interested, it will have only cost you the listing fee.

have a lovely bank holiday weekend!

What a cute little skirt! I used to make pretty skirts & dresses for my daughter when she was little. Her requirement always was that the skirts had to be "twirly" so she could spin around & twirl her skirt!

Great skirt l think you will do a great job on your dress too. Moomin is lucky to have a mommy who can sew so well, have a good May day.
